| I'm guessing my idea of a "test drive" with a towel may differ from theirs. |
Want to know my opinion?
Some of the ones I got at Wal-Mart didn't pass the test. They felt okay thickness wise, but they just don't absorb very well. Although, the Better Homes and Gardens brand are pretty okay. They seem to have a tighter weave or something. The ones I got from Penney's kind of bug be because after their initial wash there was already little strings of the fabric popping out through out the towel. Just when I was starting to feel defeated, I picked up a couple from Kohl's the other night, and they might be my favorite. They are the Sonoma brand. ($8.00 bath towel, on sale.) They are thick, hold up well in the wash, and they suck the water up off of me and out of my hair. So they win! I'll be getting more of those with my Kohl Bucks.

Now I know what I'm buying with my next extra 30% off coupon! I let the last 2 go to waste. Our Kohl's is just out of my area now a days.
New towels are the best! Why do we always wait until they get stringy before we go get some new ones? I guess there are always other things on our lists.
