Mom, I thought the same thing when Layne brought me my tulips this year. Besides the 100's we planted over the years, I always had good luck replanting the bulbs that Layne gave me at Valentine's. It was one of the first times I have been a little bummed about leaving the Ludlow House. But then I realized that I can begin the tradition at the new place. It will become just as wonderful. As for the name...we are still going over the ideas. Why is it so hard?!? BUT, I am thinking I will plant a tulip tree. They grow very well aroud here.
