New Ideas Needed

Cute kitty found here.

Hi everyone.
Once again, we are snowed in.  I think the kids are finally at a point where finding something interesting to do (besides practice piano, work on scouts, read, and clean) is getting harder to think of.

Today the boys have finally pushed their limits on what they could find to do.  Years ago their dad taught them the fun trick of spraying Pledge on the floors to make them really slick and having sock sliding contests, but today they decided to include the cat.

She really didn't enjoy it as much as they did.  As a matter of fact, when she finally got away from them she disappeared for hours.  We did find that cats do slide pretty good though.

Wow....poor kitty. She probably appreciated the attention, though...no matter how dimented.

I love the types of activities that boredom breeds. Snow days are the best!

Do you have a staircase the kids could put their twin size mattress on and slide down. That was a big boredom buster at our house in I.F. It may not have been the best thing for the mattress or the walls on the sides of the stairs, but you are in a rental right?

I have a couple of warped suggestions...have the kids run bare foot to the fence and back or just get out a mouse trap...I'll leave it at that. ;)
